Comedian and actor Hart this year delved into the world of fast-casual restaurants with the opening of his vegan flagship Hart House, smack in the heart of Hollywood. But showbiz remains his primary focus, and last year he took a big bite, as his Laugh Out Loud venture merged with his Hartbeat Productions to form a three-division outfit he says aims to become the No. 1 source of comedic storytelling. Hartbeat is producing the upcoming “Celebrity Squares” for VH1, a take on the venerable “Hollywood Squares” that centers on Black pop-culture trivia, as well as a partnership with BET that will bring back the stand-up showcase “Comic View,” including the debut of first-time comic T.I. Hartbeat’s other titles include “Kevin Hart’s Muscle Car Crew,” which moves to Roku for Season 2, and up next the man himself stars in F. Gary Gray’s Netflix heist film “Lift,” premiering in January.
